THE FINE PRINT
Your DJ and our crews are attired in one of several elegant styles in White or Black Tuxedos, Dress Suits or Formal Wear. Our staff and crews in formal attire or at minimum in professional all black uniforms of dress slacks, polo or long sleeve dress shirts, with embroidered names to blend into the background. We are there to work with you, your vendors, venue managers or staff, including planners or coordinators. We work as a team and are not in competition with one another.
If anyone has a question or issue with our staff, you can address us by name.
Our goal is never to invade your space but be accessible at any point or time.
Our crews assist behind the scenes in the production or operation of the equipment, trouble shooting of any issue that arises and of course the prompt load in and load out.
Some assist when a break is needed of DJ Steve Myers. Steve will be primarily on the microphone only in elegant and professional standards. We will not use the microphone except for scripted introductions or announcements. We will follow the script as will our crew operating the equipment.
HIGHEST QUAILTY SYSTEMS
Steve began a with a template budget of $30,000 for state of art sound and lighting equipment systems. We purchased from broadcast-musician-PA supplier Sweetwater Audio in Fort Bend Indiana and from Both Lighting Uplights USA in North Carolina. Purchases of ADJ & Chauvet lighting, Pioneer Controllers, Serato software and both Electro Voice and RCF support speaker gear.
Broadcast Digital Quality wired and wireless microphones with digital systems of Sennheiser provided best results. Speakers, Amps, and built in Mixers from Electro Voice Evolve 50M 1000 watts Column Speakers for events under 150 people to RCF Concert Systems of 150 to 2,000 attendances with higher powered 2400 watt 3 way speakers and subwoofers. If you have attended a professional arena concert or theatric presentation, chances are it was utilizing RCF styled equipment.
EXPERIENCED HOSTS – DJs, ENGINEERS, EQUIPMENT AND CREWS
Steve Myers DJ Bandstand offers Experienced DJs who are uniquely trained from decades in Radio and Nightclubs but perform to professional to broadcast standards in private events. That means they are professional with limited scripted microphone use for weddings and holiday party events. There’s nothing worse than an over chattering DJ. This adds class to each reception.
In choosing DJ Equipment Steve worked for Broadcast stations that offered redundant back up gear. If something failed or malfunctioned it was easy to switch over to something that worked immediately. The same (he realized) was needed in Mobile sound. Especially in Weddings where there is only one chance to get the event recorded and presented. Backup Computers, Hard drives and gear.
We feature battery back-up power using Jackery back up power units.
Uplights that provide eight to ten hours of stationary lighting.
MacBook Pro Computers, SSD redundant cloned hard drives.
